About

I live in New York City and I'm surrounded by books all day and when I go home I have more books waiting for me. Read my "About" page on top to see what I mean. I just want to share my book experiences and my love of all-things-books, with hopefully the occasional review thrown in. If you wish to contact me, the address is polishoutlanderATgmailDOTcom

Vampire Diaries: Plan B

Well…the producers during the NYCC panel I went to were not kidding about a character dying, and then they decide to throw another loop at us!

I had one problem with this episode: Elena. What a clinger! What an annoying I-need-to-be-filled-in-NOW-because-I-am-bored girlfriend she was.

And poor Caroline. What a heartbreaking scene for her and her mother. Just when we see that her mother has come around and realized that Caroline is her daughter despite the fact she is a vampire. It was touching, and then she took it all away by compelling her mother that everything was the way it was before. They took a giant step forward in their relationship and then they took an even bigger one back. Sad. But Caroline has to fend for herself, and deep down she knows that the less her mother knows, the better for her probably.

My Friend Amy pointed out in her recap how Damon was able to thank Bonnie for her help, kill someone, and apologize to Elena, all without batting an eye. Just goes to show you how complex this guy really is.

I’m glad to have seen Bonnie finally in on the storyline, and I truly hope she starts to come around and start to realize that her friends happen to be vampires, but her enemy is also a vampire and that not everything is black and white.

Here’s the promo for next week’s episode. My favorite part: they use one of my favorite Lady Gaga songs in it:
